This was the back cover of TransVersions 5. I'm very pleased with how something this pretty can be so creepy at the same time. The same sort of dichotomy I try to explore in my fiction.
I write literature of the fantastic. My short story collection, Psychedelia Gothique is mostly psychological horror. As a visual artist, I have illustrated books and magazines and have carved numerous sculptures out of stone.

Peering Into the Social Black Hole

  I feel like I'm in a sort of a social black hole these days. Most of the people I correspond with don't correspond back. And I have developed this strange power to shut down lively conversations with just one post on a forum or open thread.  I get more and more garrulous as most of my friends go quiet, and it feels like I'm talking to myself in the dark. Over the course of six years, we were fortunate to publish stories by new authors and established pros.
